In 1956, Arnel Inc., was established to manufacture precision electronic and conventional parts and assemblies. Additional services included tool and die designing, jig boring, stamping, and screw machine precision parts.

In the late 1960s, Arnel Inc., began to produce a variety of components for the dental industry, and participated in U.S. Defense department contracts.

During the 1970s, Arnel began full production and assembly of one particular instrument, the Amalgam Carrier, of which there are over 20 models available. Additionally, Arnel began to produce components such as Matrix Bands and Amalgam Wells, which are also used during these restorative procedures.

Going into the 1990s, Arnel remains family owned and operated. The company has expanded its global distribution, now selling in over 21 countries. While we continue to manufacture Arnel brand Amalgam Carriers and OEM brand name instruments, our design team is looking forward to introducing several restorative accessories for the new generation of restorative applications.
